Stressful September!

Herro :) Again, it's been a while since I've updated with anything. And OMG, look at that, it's already September! It's not that I have nothing to say; in fact, I have PLENTY of things I want to say. I'll be completely honest... I'm just a very lazy person. By the time I'm done studying, I just don't want to do anything anymore but drown myself in the world of Youtube (...it's crazy how addicting that website is.)

I mean this is basically what happens: 

I search one thing. For example, let's just say SKYDIVING (I want to do this someday. Maybe for my 25th birthday or something.. Who wants to join me? :)). 

So, I search skydiving and I watch maybe about 5 videos on skydiving. I stop on number 5 because it's a video of this one Korean foreign exchange student who decides to go skydiving with a bunch of her American buddies. Turns out she didn't know that the parachute of her instructor had malfunctioned and he had to pull the second rescue parachute. The camera man had told her about it at the end and she was just like O_O. Anyways, so youtube has (..as I am sure you all know) this little sidebar thingy on the site that "related videos". I'm guessing since the chick was Korean. There was this video entitled "Korean food" so I clicked that and ended up watching videos of Korean BBQ because it looked so good! Since my dad was in the military, I've had the opportunity to live in Japan for about 6 or 7 years and Yakiniku is a pretty popular ordeal over there (It's like Korean BBQ but they have other things you can grill. It's soooo good!). One thing led to another and I ended up looking at different foods then looking up videos about markets in Asian countries and blah blah blah. Before I knew it, it was 2AM (Mind you, I started youtubing around 11AM. Yeah... it's THAT bad). I guess time flies when you're having fun, haha.

Back to what I was saying, yeah I'm very lazy to update my blog most of the time. Sometimes, I write up a blog midway, begin studying, then once I am done doing that I'm too lazy to continue my blog so I just click the "x" button on the top left corner of the window (MAC).

In about one week, I will be taking a test that I have been dreading to take since August 2008. I am super nervous but I know I just need to do the best I can and keep studying while turning to God for guidance. Without Him, I'm nothing and I wouldn't even be here without him. But, please keep me in your prayers (..whoever comes and stumbles upon my blog :)).  Super nervous and scared.

That's about the most exciting thing that's happening in my life (Lame, I know.) But yeah, just wanted to update about that. I have a "baking" project coming up. I'm going to do a first attempt on making a homemade ice cream cake. My idea for it will be a Spongebob one because my brother likes Spongebob and his birthday is next week. 18th birthday. Yeah, I know an 18th year old who like Spongebob. I could put cars on it and other manly things but that would be no fun. I like playing with different colors when it comes to baking several things. Anyways, I've done my research and I'm hoping it will turn out well. I'm going to make it a white chocolate cake and use some chocolate chip ice cream. No fondant with this one. I'm going to try other things. I don't really eat fondant but I love using it to decorate. It's just easier to handle and makes the aesthetics of the cake look beautiful. No limits with fondant. :)

I'll take pictures of the cake but maybe I'll make a video if I have time too. I love video editing so maybe I can try and test out that feature on my macbook! So I'll buy the ingredients on Thursday and probably do it on Monday or something.
